Vermont Midwifery Care

Supportive home birth care for families in Williston and surrounding Vermont communities

Midwifery

Midwifery means “with woman.” It is a model of care rooted in trust, relationship, and the understanding that birth is a natural and powerful life experience.

At Connected Birth, our midwives provide thoughtful, relationship-centered care for families choosing homebirth in Vermont. We believe women deserve to feel supported, respected, and deeply heard throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition.

Our approach blends clinical knowledge with deep respect for the natural physiology of birth. As midwives, we monitor safety, provide skilled care, and hold space for birth to unfold in a calm and supported environment.

Each family and each birth is unique. Our role is to support you in discovering what feels right for you and your family.

“Most women will never forget how they were treated in labor and how they felt giving birth.”

At Connected Birth, we understand that:

The midwives at Connected Birth share a deep commitment to supporting families during one of life’s most meaningful transitions.

Christy Feiker and Shari Corr bring decades of combined experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Their work is grounded in a shared philosophy: that respectful, attentive care creates the conditions for safe and empowering birth experiences.

Outside of attending births, both midwives remain deeply connected to family life and the Vermont community they serve.

Choosing where you give birth and who you want surrounding you is an important decision. Many families choose to meet with different midwives to find the right fit for their needs and values.

We welcome these conversations and are happy to meet with you for a consultation to explore whether Connected Birth is the right place for your birth journey.
